Lailey and Ian

While in Milledgeville last weekend, I got to see my friend and roommate from college, Rachel. Her son, Ian, was born 3 days after Lailey.

Here is their meeting when they were about 2 weeks old. Ian was content sucking his thumb. Lailey...not so much.

And here they are now. BIG difference! In typical toddler fashion (also known as parallel play), they sort of paid attention to each other, but mostly did their own thing during the visit. No, Ian is not trying to strangle Lailey. I think he was just checking this other little person out.

Ian was very adorable and sweet to share his rocking horse, but right here I think he was making sure she wouldn't break it. It was fun to see my dear friend and a blast to get our kiddos together. Maybe someday we can get them together again when they'll actually remember it. Love ya, Rach!
