This past weekend, Lailey and I traveled with Davey and his family to Milledgeville, GA (where I went to college at GC&SU). We are blessed to be able to stay in a lake house that belongs to our dear friends, the Raptis'. (How do you plural-ize names ending in "s?" I'll never know.) Lailey got the chance to ride on a pontoon boat for the first time.

I figured that Lailey would love being outside and getting to ride across the water. What I did
not anticipate was her HATING her life jacket! Notice the real tears? She did not like it one bit. It took a significant amount of distracting techniques from her uncles, aunt, and grandparents to help her forget about it. I know this picture is pitiful, but it makes me laugh! I promise she was not hurt in the slightest, just mad. Very mad.

{Add this to the album "Most Awkward Family Pictures Ever"}

{Grammy made it all better}

{My husband, the strange one}

{Now she's a little happier}

{"Whatcha think, Grammy?"}

{Wonder how she kept the sunglasses on? Notice her hands...stuck in Grammy's}

{Aunt Julie, using LAILEY'S coat. It almost fits! Just kidding}

{Enjoying a snuggle}
