Ever have a moment when you just laughed and thought, "yep, I'm definitely a Mom now." Well, I have. Many in fact. But one of my favorites was when I took Lailey to Chick-fil-a when she was a bit younger. I was holding her on my hip, digging in my purse for my wallet, and when I finally got it out and opened it to pay, Cheerios spilled out of my wallet all over the counter. I don't think the cashier thought it was nearly as funny as I did, but hey, she wasn't a mom, so that's probably why. But that incident many months ago was what initiated this post. I've been compiling these "things I find" for awhile now, and they make me laugh. Enjoy!
Cheerios in my wallet
Red ukelele in my half-unpacked suitcase
"Donuts" the fish (Lailey's teething toy that she's crazy about) in a cabinet amongst the toilet paper
Lucy the doll in my closet
Lucy's clothes in the hallway
Used bandaids on my night stand (ew)
Sippy cups in my car (double ew)
Noah's ark animals under the couch
Raisins in my couch
My real pots and pans in her toy kitchen
Mr. Potato Head's arm under my desk
My water bottle in the laundry hamper
Mr. Potato Head's mustache in my dryer (apparently he thought it needed fluffing)
A little pumpkin in the bathroom drawer with the hair dryer
And the final one...
The barcode sticker from Lailey's new Snoopy pumpkin car... in. my. hair. The funny thing is, I didn't find it until long after she had gone to bed and I was in the shower. Who knows how long it had been in my ponytail.
