On Aug. 23rd, we dedicated Lailey to the Lord. We also dedicated ourselves to raising her in a Godly way. As we were listening to our pastor explain what we were about to do, I realized in that moment the huge responsibility of making such a commitment. What a privilege to be able to have such a sweet precious girl. Not a day goes by that I don't find myself in awe of how amazing of a gift she is and how much I love her. I get a lump in my throat just thinking about it.

While our pastor prayed for Lailey, she just gazed up at him like she knew exactly what he was saying about her. It was adorable. And yes, I was peeking during the prayer.

Thank you Amy and Tim for coming to spend the weekend with us. We had a blast! We need to do it again soon and grill shish kebobs again. Yum!
