Today I saw the nurse-midwife (Heather) at my OB office, and she is just as great as all the other doctors in the practice. Baby's heartbeat sounds wonderful, and I'm feeling very well. Seriously, I love being pregnant! She said starting today, they will measure my stomach every time I go in. I know lots of people have been telling me they can't believe how far along I am considering my size, so I am VERY EXCITED to tell you all that my belly is measuring exactly as it should! Yay! So there you have it. :)
We also briefly talked about the report from the high-risk dr., and she did not seem the least bit concerned about the baby's size. She said based on my size and family background and such, it did not surprise her. She said *hopefully* after the next time they do the extensive ultrasound to check the baby's size, I shouldn't have to go back to the specialist. Of course, that's not for sure, but that's what we'll pray for.
In case I don't post again before Thursday, I wish everyone a wonderful, safe, blessed, and joyful Christmas. We have so much to be thankful for, especially the gift of Jesus. If you need a reminder, go watch the movie "The Nativity Story" like we did the other day. It will get you in the Christmas spirit!

That's great news! I hope you and Davey enjoy a wonderful Christmas this year and know that next year will be "Baby's First Christmas"!!
Hey girlie!! I am catching up on all my blog reading and you will have to help me start one!! lol, anyway, is that Heather at WMC? If it is, let me just tell you she is AWESOME!! She delivered Mikey and Ellis (well, she "caught" Ellis b/c she was a precipitate birth baby!!) and I will never even visit another OB Dr. again!! She was right there with me from the beginning and she is amazing!! She is so concerned with everything you are going thru whether it's your first or third baby!! I would highly suggest going with her! It looks like the "three" of you are trucking along!! Michael and I are very proud of the both of you! We love all 3 of you!!
