Davey's on the road again, and I'm here at home with Rudy. He's been traveling a lot lately, so I try to keep myself busy with things so I don't dwell on it too much. Today I felt really good and had a whole Saturday off. I decided it was time to paint the lines in the nursery. They turned out great! Only a few minor touch-ups will be necessary. It only took a few hours, and most of that was getting the tape perfect. Here are some pictures to show the progress and then the final result.
Tape...

Paint...

and Finish!...

Now that the walls are done, the next step will be to order the crib. I can't wait!

Hi Sarah & Davey, This is my first visit to your blog and Sarah, I know you have no idea who I am. I go to Southside Baptist in Mooresville, NC where Davey & his family are this week. You are doing a wonderful job with your blog. I enjoyed reading about your "first child" and your adventures decorating the baby's room. Excellent painting job with the stripes! God bless you both as you prepare for your precious baby. Here is our website if you would like to learn more about our family. My dh Doug is the one who writes most of our blog but I do an occasional post or book review. http://www.hendersonhomeonline.com
